It’s not uncommon for people to run into issues on account of that, including greyed-out audio. Like every other plugin, though, you can sometimes run into problems, mainly because there are 4 versions of it and each more advanced edition of Melodyne has more features than the last. And the nice thing about it is that it works for almost every DAW out there, including more basic ones like GarageBand which is like the stripped-down version of Logic Pro X. Melodyne is definitely one of the most advanced plugins that you can use for your DAW.
